Work. His most popular book The Sacred Diary of Adrian Plass Aged 37¾, the title of which parodies Sue Townsend's Adrian Mole books, is a humorous, fictional satire of Christian life. [1] [2] Plass followed this up with a sequel in , called The Sacred Diary of Adrian Plass Christian Speaker Aged 45 ¾, in which as a prominent Christian speaker he tours Australia with his fictional wife.   The Growing Pains of Adrian Mole is the second book in the Adrian Mole series by Sue Townsend.. The Growing Pains of Adrian Mole follows on from The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole 13¾, chronicling the daily struggles facing a teenager growing up in the ’s. Of course, many of the problems faced by the teenagers then are still current for teenagers today.

It seems like a long time since I read this book now, I’ve been really busy with work and not had time to come on here and update my blog. Since January, I have been attending classes at the vicarage to prepare to be Confirmed at Church, and this was a book that I read in the run-up to my confirmation just before Easter (Palm Sunday on 20th March). Adrian Plass About a decade ago I was introduced to two UK authors whose main weapon was looking at life, and life in and around the church through humorous eyes. They were Adrian Plass and Fred Secombe. I instantly fell in love with their humour and writings. I have read about a third of Plass' books and almost all of Sacombe's.
